About Us
We’re locals from Nehru Trophy Village, right on Alleppey’s famous boat race route. We’ve grown up on these canals—rowing to school, to the market, and later learning how to guide visitors safely through our home waters.
At Alleppey Shikaras, our mission is simple: to share the peaceful side of Kerala’s backwaters with genuine warmth and care.
When you book with us, you support local families and help preserve the traditional Shikara lifestyle of Alleppey.
